Learning happens naturally through play, creative activities, stories,

Outdoor time every day
Children spend time outside daily, exploring the grounds, nature areas
and play spaces, whatever the season.
Lunch and rest
Nutritious meals are shared together, followed by quiet time or rest
suited to each child’s age and needs.
Afternoon activities and home time
The day continues with a mix of indoor and outdoor activities before a relaxed end to the day and home time.
At Walton Nursery, learning is woven naturally into each day through play, exploration and meaningful experiences.
Guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage, we focus on building confident, curious children who feel secure, supported and excited to learn.
Rather than rushing outcomes, we give children the time and space to develop at their own pace, supported by caring, experienced staff who know them well.

Walton Nursery, based at the Old Rectory in Walton, provides high quality care and early education for children from 2 months to 4 years.
Situated within the Grade II listed Old Rectory and Coach House in Milton Keynes, the nursery offers a safe, nurturing and homely environment where children play, explore and learn in a relaxed and happy setting.
The nursery benefits from extensive grounds, including woodland gardens, a nature trail and dedicated outdoor play spaces. We encourage children to spend time outside in the fresh air as often as possible.
Each room is thoughtfully equipped with age appropriate resources, and our experienced staff and key workers understand and support the individual needs of every child.
