Daily Routines

Children learn about the needs and feelings of themselves and others and to respect themselves and others too. They learn to talk excitedly about what interests them and to listen to what others have to say.

They begin to understand that language, thinking and learning are interlinked. They become confident individuals and feel valued. At the same time, with praise and encouragement, they are learning the basic skills which form the foundation for future learning. It is such a vital time in our children’s lives. We like to involve parents and extended family in as many activities as we can.

Our Pre-Preparatory department children are prepared for a smooth transition into Reception at 5 years. Our staff are immersed in the education and care of the children. They provide carefully planned activities which are designed to stimulate the children and cater for their individual needs.

The wide range of activities and new experiences take place both in and outdoors and aim to enrich the overall development of each child. The planning, teaching and assessment that we do are based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Meals

Meals are freshly prepared daily in our own kitchen. We use fresh local produce, sometimes our own! We cater for allergies and dietary needs.

I had a great perception of your nursery as I felt it is a safe and nurturing environment with loving and caring staff.
Great nursery – we feel very lucky that our child is in such a wonderful environment with staff who really care about our baby. He seems to really enjoy his days there and we love seeing his artworks and photos. Thank you!
